Job Scheduler

Utilities > Job Scheduler

The job scheduler is used automatically import outside information into TITAN.

  1. Search - search by name

  2. Include Inactive - check to include inactivated job schedules

  3. Reset - click to reset search parameters

  4. Add New Schedule - click to add a new schedule

    1. Name - enter schedule name

    2. Schedule Type - choose the schedule type (Atlas Import, Data Import Template, Financial System,Student Information System)

    3. Import - select the corresponding import based on the selected type

    4. Schedule - select the frequency of the job and complete fields depending on selection
      Hour - at M past the hour
      Day - at HH:MM
      Week - on DAY at HH:MM
      Month - on the DATE at HH:MM
      Year - on the DATE of MONTH at HH:MM
      Source (not pictured, Data Import Template only) - select Ftp
      Path (not pictured, Data Import Template only) - enter ftp file path

    5. Run as User - select the user. Note: The import will run with the selected user's security rights, and the notifications will appear in the selected user's bell.
      Active (not pictured, existing schedules only) - toggle active status

    6. Cancel - click to return to the previous screen without saving changes

    7. Save - click to save changes

  5. Run as User - click to sort by user

  6. Name - click to sort by schedule name

  7. Type - click to sort by template type (Atlas Import, Data Import Template, Financial System,Student Information System)

  8. Schedule - click to sort by schedule

  9. Last Run Date - notice the last run date and time

  10. Next Run Date - notice the next run date and time

  11. Active - sort by active status

  12. Pencil - click to edit job schedule settings. See Step 4 for details.

  13. Refresh Icon - click to manually run the job

  14. < > - click to scroll through pages
